WIND SOLAR AND STORAGE POLICIES

The world s first wind and solar energy storage power station
The project began construction in July 2017 and was fully connected to the grid in September 2019, with a total installed capacity of 700,000 megawatts, of which 200,000 megawatts of photovoltaic projects, 400,000 megawatts of wind power projects, 50,000 kilowatts of solar thermal power projects and 50,000 kilowatts of energy storage projects, making it the world's first multi-energy complementary project integrating wind solar and heat storage. Tonga solar energy storage battery
The two battery storage facilities installed in Tonga are complementary: the aim of the first 5 MWh / 10 MW battery is to improve the electricity grid’s stability (regulating the voltage and frequency), while the second 23 MWh / 7 MW battery is designed to transfer the electrical load in order to help the grid supply electricity at peak times, and notably in the evening. 20 degree solar energy storage box
The energy storage battery system adopts 1500V non-walk-in container design, and the box integrates energy storage battery clusters, DC convergence cabinets, AC power distribution cabinets, temperature control system, automatic fire-fighting system, lighting system and so on.The total capacity is 3.096 MWh (9 clusters), and the clusters are connected to the DC side of the energy storage converter through the convergence cabinet in parallel. The battery system adopts 20-foot container installation, with high degree of system integration and strong environmental adaptability, which reduces the workload of on-site installation and debugging as well as later maintenance.
